the soft simple
she visits
coming now and then to me

delicate today
she joins my walk
a breeze in the sunshine

sometimes in anger
she hurls herself at me
driving her fury through the world

and when we sulk
she ignores me by
straight true and held aloof

but when in need
shell visit me by night
to rock and sooth and watch my sleep

keeping at bay
my fears and anguish
and washing my tears with the world away

will she visit me today
the soft simple
will she come
in sommer time
the wind blows.

a constant sparring partner
in battle
with me and my hair and my step

(i won that round and cut it off - hah!)
a backwards defeat
when you act to stop an action.

in sommer time
the wind blows.

and all life rises
to see
what would it mean to fly without restraint

even birds are subject
they too tied down
to the ropes of wind that breeze freedom

in sommer time
the wind blows.

i live my life
the me i am
was born from birth
the me i am

have grown from child
the me i am
to learn to find
the me i am

through wounds that mar
the me i am
and tears that scar
the me i am

to step a step
the me i am
to think to know
the me i am

in all my points
the me i am
and try to be
the me i am

the this who is
the me i am
to move from what
the me i am

to more then just
the me i am
till then i come
the me i am

the time when done
the me i am
who then shall know
the me i am

how life i lived
the me i am
and death i died
the me i am

and if at last
the me i am
did reach the goal
to see I AM.
I look at eyes
They see
No one
They show
No thing
Who looks at my eyes
What show
My eyes
What sees
My heart
Can I cry can I weep
Can I smile
Or do I merely watch
lets draw circles
you me us our.
when was
is up round over time
shadows of the wind in violent stillness move
from whence
to where upon the time and place
to start.
does grow and fade for up
to turn unce more invent
make create
ever increasing patterns of oneself
in
decreasing spaces. colorful whites.
and bright black
empty
circles.

if a picture tells a thousand words
ill paint a teardrop and let it fall
ill paint a sun and watch it set
ill paint a leper and help him beg
ill paint a rose and see you smile
ill paint a cloud and float away.
